Chip+malt - Reservar una mesa

I was really looking forward to finally eating here as I had heard such good things about the food.Service was very good, friendly and efficient. We were there around 6 on a Saturday and got seated immediately. When we left there was a line up so I suggest coming early.While there was nothing wrong with my meal I just have to say I was a little underwhelmed. My piece of halibut was not that big and there was only one piece. I am used to places having a two piece of fish option and I did not see that here. You have to order a second piece of fish on it's own. The amount of fries you receive is ridiculous - just too much!They are really good though and freshly made.The fish batter is more of a thin coating, healthier yes, but did not hit the spot for me - guess I wanted a thicker more traditional batter.Will eat here again just to see if I was wrong about it being a bit blah the first time!

My wife and I had to make a last minute trip to see my parents on a Friday night and we phoned ahead and picked up our dinner on the way. Our orders were huge and O could have had only one piece instead of two. It was great!
