We had to ask for the music to be turned down 3 times too loud. And food was disappointing. Everything was warm or cold on the plate when it was delivered so we can only assume it sat in the back before serving. What a disappointment for my first time to CHOP friend and for me returning after raving about earlier meals. Several staff apologized and we got gift cards for next visit. But unfortunately the meal was so disappointing we will likely not return even with gift cards. It would have been more appreciated if bill $120.00 for two dinners) had been adjusted and would have made it more likely to return. So disappointing and embarrassing after having bragged about it being one of my favori...
We reserved table 13, but they sat someone there so this was the first anniversary we couldn't sit at table 13. The food tasted great. Our server Eric was kind of hard to get back to the table but we also understand he was busy. This was the first time as well the on duty manager never introduced herself, she just brought all my husbands plates and kinda plunked them in front of him and said peanut allergy, that was it like it felt as though my husband was a burden.
The smoked ribeye should have been Much thicker and far that reason was dry. I would not order it again. The prime rib was good and the mash potatoes where soggy. The mushroom escargot appetizer was a loose mess and confusing! The deserts tasted excellent but portions very small. We would come back mostly because of the exceptional waiter and service. Absolutely the best waiter we've ever had . Please let him know .
What a treat this was for lunch. The restaurant is a stylish place with very stylish servers. I wish I could give the service 6 stars..... We were a party of four people for lunch on a Friday. The food was excellent albeit we had...burgers, chicken sandwich and salads but everything we had was presented and tasted first class. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Birthday dinner for hubby. Everything was ? ?. I had the Halibut with Avacado Salsa from seasonal menu. Wow, fantastic! Hubby had smoked Ribeye and mini lobster tails. Delicious. Waitress was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We enjoy sitting in the lounge when dining at Chop. Atmosphere on point.
Arrived here just after 6PM local time and was seated promptly, my server Laura was right there to explain the menu and take my drink order.
