The pricing is much higher than what you see online. I got a sandwich and fries and it ended up being around $15. And when I receive the food 5 minutes later. The food was only lukewarm. It definitely was not worth the $15 that I spent. The cook could have made me some fresh food or the pricing and the fact that no one was at the restaurant. I tried to support small and local businesses but not every business deserves our support. With the pricing being so high, every order should be made to order and come out piping hot and fresh. Probably will not be back.
I visited this restaurant after winning a gift card donated to a Corgi dog benefit. I ordered a chicken sandwich from the second level, and it was excellent. I typically don’t prefer spicy food, and this sandwich was just right for my palate. The French fries were also delicious. Although they only offer carryout and no indoor seating, everything is prepared fresh and made to order. The woman at the window was very friendly too. Overall, the chicken sandwich definitely deserves a mention in conversations about the best chicken sandwich around.
This was the best decision I made all weekend! It has the ambiance of a hidden gem, and I assure you, the food lives up to the atmosphere. Everything I tasted was exceptional. The dish features five levels of spices, and the chicken and waffles—available only on weekends—are a must-try. The corn fritters are possibly among the best I've ever had. Although it operates as a pickup window, there are tables set up around the parking lot, so just keep that in mind if you were expecting a different setup. I will definitely be back!
The atmosphere was lacking since the online ordering system was experiencing issues, and I couldn't complete my order online. Instead, I had to order at the window and ended up waiting about 25 minutes. The spice level ranges from 1 to 5, but there's no option for 0, so the food is spicy right from level 1. They also didn't have chicken legs available that day, but the chicken strips were good. Keep in mind, they don't offer dine-in service; you have to pick up your order at the window.

The food arrived quickly and was quite tasty, and the service was exceptionally friendly. Placing an order was easy—simply scan the QR code outside to order online, or approach the Cecil Whittaker's order window, where you'll receive a buzzer. Once your food is ready, you can pick it up at the Chuck's Hot Chicken window. The chicken was tender, but it could have used a bit more flavor.
Chucks Hot Chicken shares a space with another restaurant, which made it a bit confusing at first. However, the food was quite enjoyable. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries at spice level 2 and spent about $14. The fries were wonderfully crispy, and the sandwich had a delightful crunch.
This is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, and the green beans were incredible! The chicken strips were also fantastic. The service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out!
I've never had a bad meal here. The chicken strips are meaty, wings have a ton of flavor, and the chicken sandwich is the best out there. Spice level 2 is my go to. A good bite to it without being overwhelming. The green beans and coleslaw are absolutely delicious. Worth the money.

It's carry-out only, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing—just something to keep in mind. The drive home may have affected the crispiness of the food, but it was still quite good overall. If you enjoy spicy dishes, you'll definitely appreciate the heat here.
