Chuckwagon Restaurant

Was in Woodstock today with my year old dad for the Farm show. We had a great time at the show and stopped at the Chuckwagon Restaurant on the way home. Nice looking rustic restaurant. Walking inside, I was behind my dad, holding his...arm and the door. Just inside the door is an or inch step down with some yellow tape. This step is perpendicular to the door. Neither I or my dad, noticed the step just inside the door, while sideways coming in as he shuffled he fell and fell hard. Crashed into a table, hit his head, twisted his knee, smashed his shoulder and hip and landed under the table. (good thing no one was sitting there) The cook and the waitress came running out. The Chuckwagon is our go to place for a meal since moving to Woodstock two years ago.. It`s your classic old school diner where you can get homemade soups to steak and everything in between. They`ve just made some major renovations from outdoor signage, new...roof, new windows and blinds and colour change inside. The spaghetti and meatballs are definitely worth trying. The Staff and Management here are very friendly and you can tell, take pride in serving their customers. Dollar for dollar, the Chuckwagon provides great food and value !

many parking spaces. our waitress was very pleasant and eating quickly arrived. we ordered the Greek wrap with veggies (kartoffeln) and the hay on a bungalow with salat and vegetables. that had good portions. the carrots were huge and so tender. the salat was mainly icebergsalat with 2 slices tomato and gurken on it. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to something in the chicken sandwich, so not likely back.

A classic small town diner. Looks a bit rough round the edges from the outside. Filled with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Best French toast I've had in some time. Cheap prices for what you get. Would definitely go back! Reserva una mesa ahora

Server was rude, food pre frozen expensive. Bathrooms were clean, but the gossip from behind the counter was the high lite, talking loudly about her friends daughters diaper rash. Like come on we are trying to eat!

Worst breakfast ever process cheese and packaged ham used in my Omelette after the waitress told us it was all “homemade “ Yuk and for a horrible experience Should be called Up Chuckwagon

Very busy, but did not have to wait long to be seated and the wait was worth it.. The food was delicious and service was great, would recommend to anyone who wants to have a great meal.

I go here quite often on Wednesdays for lunch with some friends. Not fancy, can have breakfast all day, low cost. Average overall. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a small non chain restaurant worth stopping by for a great breakfast! Not fancy nor expensive but you'll leave happy!

I've been here a few times. Never been disappointed. Service is good, food is good, always leave with a happy tummy!
