Clare Fish Chip Shop

I live in the mountains of northern Spain, and there's one thing I really miss: a good fish and chips. Whenever I return to visit my family in Essex, my first stop is always a chip shop. This time, I struck gold. The Claire Chip Shop has the best homemade chips I've had in years, and the fish is fantastic too. There’s not much more to say—I’ve visited this oasis of deliciousness three times in the last two weeks, and I’ll definitely be going back again soon.

Popped in here for the first time ever on saturday and wow what a beautiful likkle shop, the ladies serving were lovely and even though they were battling the extreme heat they still had lovely welcoming smiles for us, and I have to say these were probably the best chips I've ever tried.... I will be back even though I have to travel from Haverhill to get there they are worth it !!! xxxxxxxx

I was very pleased with both the quality of the food and the service, not to mention the excellent value! I enjoyed a large portion of fish and chips, along with a generous serving of sausage and chips topped with curry sauce. The price was just £11, which is fantastic, especially considering my previous local charged £5 more for less!

I drive about 12 miles specifically to visit the fish and chip shop in Clare it is that good. Can't praise it highly enough. Only minor complaint is that because it's so popular you might have a bit of a wait. But it's worth it! Reserva una mesa ahora
