Coach House Seafood Steak

I had hoped of fresh seafood when I entered this older, established cafe restaurant. Service was fast and friendly and atmosphere welcoming and warm, albeit a bit worn down. Hubby ordered the catfish special, which was fine nothing special. I ordered a Greek salad with boiled shrimp. When I see boiled shrimp as an option, I guess our time in NOLA has trained my brain to expect boiled fresh shrimp. Needless to say, that is not what I got. I got chopped iceberg, a small amount of slices cucumber, a couple of black olives, generous feta (which may or may not have been fresh) and what felt like an entire bag of previously frozen mini shrimp that covered the entire salad. Vacationing in NC, read reviews and decided to try. Husband and I both had seafood, would definitely go back when vacationing close by again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking

First time here and the food was very good, combo plate for seniors priced reasonable. Baby shrimp cooked just right, deviled crab ok ,can do with out it again. Catfish and white fish really tasty. Will try this place again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
