Was there for the celebration of life in the passing of Steve Morrell he was one great harmonica player who played with many great musicians he belong to the Local 802 Musicians Union in New York City he filled in for Muddy Waters harmonica player at Carnegie Hall one time he was in the band 9 below zero he was 1984 I believe it was him and James Cotton were the two poster Childs for Honor harmonica they were both on there yearly poster that year we're all going to miss you Steve call House Pizza they were great food was great
I purchased a gift certificate from a charity auction for a "dinner for four with beer and wine included." Naturally, I was a bit skeptical about what that would entail, but we were absolutely amazed! The four of us were able to order whatever we wanted and enjoyed several beers without any limits. It was incredibly generous of them! To top it off, the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding! This place is definitely our new favorite local spot! Well done, Coalhouse!
CoalHouse was one of the few establishments that welcomed our Cub Scouts Pack, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The boys, who are all in First Grade, were thoroughly engaged by the staff, who taught them about the pizza dough-making process, the ingredients in a classic cheese pizza, and the operation of the brick oven, which uses both coal and wood for heating and adding flavor. The food was incredible! We can't thank them enough for such a wonderful experience!
The service used to be much better, but now it has become quite poor. Frequently, the beers listed on the menu are unavailable. They never have the chips that typically accompany the meal, but they do not allow for substitutions, and they fail to inform you that they are out of them until your meal is served. The servers have also been forgetting items that were ordered. It was once a fantastic place, but it has now become just mediocre.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food, staff, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The owner and employees went out of their way to make our Cub Scout group feel special during our recent visit. We really enjoyed the pizza and drinks, as well as the overall vibe of the place. We will definitely be coming back soon!
excellent place to enjoy with friends and family. It has a very familiar restaurant part, the decoration is spectacular. and the other room that is the bar. good attention the pizzas are very good and the best you have more than 100 options in beers to choose from
Been there a bunch of times, and have not had any mediocre food or beers. It does get quite busy at times, but that is to be expected of most (good) places in Stamford.
First time there with my wife, food is outstanding, beer menu, top notch, can't wait to get to the bar in the back !!!!!!

Mozz sticks (really a log) were outstanding, but downhill from there. The vodka pizza was dry, and disappointingly bland.
