It had been a long time since I had eaten at the Como so thought we'd give it a try for dinner. The positive was the wait staff were friendly and polite. The food and atmosphere let this place down. It was very hot in the area we were in (off to the side) with no air-conditioning.....I can't imagine what it's like in summer. It felt like we were seated on a dancefloor (perhaps we were) so it lacked any atmosphere as there were huge gaps of open floorspace like a hall. It was quite busy so I could have excused the seating if the food was good but unfortunately it was very poor pub food. Pizza Base doughy and uncooked, calamari sloppy, chips undercooked...fish was decent. Burger was okay but...

Celebramos un cumpleaños familiar aquí el fin de semana. Los platos de alimentos eran geniales: pinchos de pollo, envolturas de ensalada de carne fría, fichas calientes, pasteles de pizza había un par más, pero no puedo recordar. Algunos televisores grandes para observar el footy. El personal era agradable de tratar, les dijimos que habría pequeños niños que asistían y sacaron algunas colorantes en libros para mantenerlos entretenidos. Gran lugar para tener una fiesta.
Had my daughters birthday lunch at the como on sunday. Food was nice and the American Diner menu had some nice options. I had the 60s burger and was yum, pattie was slightly over cooked, but the bacon and sauce were great.
Kids chicken burger was great especially ss it had a real chicken breast, not processed meat.
Service was friendly, however despite a 20% full restaurant we still had to go searching for service a few times.
We will be back.

We celebrated a family birthday here on the weekend. The food platters were great - chicken skewers, cold meat salad wraps, hot chips, pizza pastries there were a couple more but I can't remember. A few big TVs inside to watch the footy. Staff were nice to deal with, we told them there would be little kids attending and they put out some colouring in books to keep them entertained. Great place to have a party.
I enjoyed my lunch here on a Saturday. The food area is spacious and clean. Service, quick and friendly. My pizza was yum. Of the 6 of us, 4 enjoyed their meals, 2 commented they were okay (the risotto bland and thai beef salad also boring)
Busy pub with a good sized indoor and outdoor area. Easy, central location. Staff are polite. Good above-average pub fare, with plenty of menu options. Venue is clean and has a good atmosphere.
Had lunch at a Como hotel this pub is still same hasn't changed much food was good out fast beautiful presented on plate Myself ordered the pasta

This place is awesome! I love retro! Even more I love are the great food and reasonable prices.
The Como Hotel, South Terrace and Canning Highway Como WA big pub eat and drink inside and out.
