this restaurant is a must in chamonix. in a sea of moderate or worse restaurants in chamonix, comptoir is a stellar standout. it would actually be a superstar in the food scene in every city. eating was the close eyes while they taste kind of good. the service was impeccable, well maintained and extremely friendly. in addition to all those who sommelier absolutely crushed their pairing recommendations. when you go to cham, go to comptoir. Go!
The food is fantastic, very creative and elegant. Interesting options across the menu, includong the desserts. BUT the service had really deteriorated in the past 2 years. It hard to get the attention of a waiter of there is a problem or you would like to order a beverage. They seem to want to take one order with your initial food order and never hear from you again. Just drop the plates and leave and don't check in.
great risotto. I asked for an salate not to start in the menu and they made me a beautiful salate. definitiw a place to go if they want something else than the good most restaurants in chamonix
One of favorite restaurants in Chamonix. Service was a little off this night, forgot a wine order and mixed up orders. But we will come back for the FOOD. It is a culinary experience!!! Reserva una mesa ahora
