Con's Fish & Chips

Not many fish chips are open on a Monday, around here, but Con's is. (aka Blackburn Seafood Grill) We had a delicious grilled whiting and snapper, as well as good calamari rings and a potato cake. The fish were individually wrapped in foil which presented very nicely. Our meal was takeaway. Friendly service, good food and good prices, with easy parking next door (big open car park area visible from the street). Recommended

The staff at this restaurant are always friendly, and it is one of our favorite places to get takeaway fish and chips in the area. The chips are not greasy, which is a good sign. As someone who has worked in a local fish and chips shop, I am all about quality control. The dim sims are served steaming hot, so be careful with little ones or yourself and allow them time to cool for safety reasons.

Great Chippy. I had the Schnitzel burger which was enormous and very good while my wife had the grilled flake which was also good. Best potato cakes I have ever had in Melbourne and good chips too. Friendly and cheerful service. Will be our ‘go to’ Chippy from now on.

With new owners running the joint and our family were pleased with their fried and grill fish especially the Whiting. Generous serve perfectly cooked in fresh oil with no aroma of other fried food. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

This restaurant offers excellent value, high quality, and quick service with fresh ingredients. It's everything you could ask for in a neighborhood fish and chip restaurant. Definitely worth becoming a regular customer.
