Truly one of Camden, NJ's best kept secrets! My sons and I stayed there on the way home from an afternoon Phillies game. It was easy to find on Haddon Ave and parking was very convenient. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed by other Mäzen, as well as the owner and employees. We sat at the bar and ordered the best cheese steak we ever had! The beer selection was decent and it was freezing! The furnishings usually seem original with seating at the bar along with some tables at the front and a back room with tables. The place bounced and the food and drinks were great! Definitely a place we will visit again and again! Do not forget to pick up a cool t-shirt while you are there. You can't beat...

Great cheesesteak, even in western Canada Donkey’s Place’s reputation is known. It did not disappoint. The sandwiches are huge so come prepared. Best eaten fresh in the restaurant as they will get soggy if they sit in the bag too long. If I lived anywhere close I would certainly come back.

Great spot to have a cheesesteak. It's not a traditional take since it's on a poppy seed bun but it's so delicious! I loved the spicy pepper mix and loaded up my sandwich with it. The spicy pickle and stuffed cherry pepper were also great additions. Couldn't ask for more!

Barry Goldberg said it was the best Philly cheese steak. My friend and I drove from Cleveland to try out all the famous Philly cheese steak places. Barry didn't lie. It was the best we ate today.

Donkey's the hands down. The owner and the staff are friendly and amazing. The atmosphere is great. I'll go every two weeks.
