I've have been today with a friend 9th July . Arrived at 12.20 pm . We were the only customers in the place at the time . The waitress was very friendly and took our drinks order . Then came back for our meal order. A friend called in for a brief chat while we waited ordered a cup of coffee but was told Sorry we don't have the ingredients for a coffee but offered tea ? OK tea ordered . Waited for food to come the waitress offered an apology and said the gammon I ordered was only small and would I like to order another piece ??? Checked with Dog Friendly Southport Facebook folk and they recommended Corridor for a nice birthday dinner. Right from the off, we knew we were in a great place with Northern Soul tunes spilling on to the walkway outside. Inside is cool and modern. The service is super friendly and welcoming. As soon as we walked in Pinter Pooch was offered a bowl of water, before we’d ordered our own drinks! The excellent music continued and we were recommended a sharing platter. We had the Surf and Turf absolutely delicious! We had to get a ‘doggy bag’ to take away, there was so much. The bill came and I nearly fell over less than £50 for a bottle of fizz, a lager and a feast. I cannot recommend this place...
My 3rd visit to the Corridor Bar, this time to try out the famous Sunday roast, which did not dissapoint. Huge portion, served piping hot. Waitress worked very hard serving customers, she was rushed off her feet! However, 3 things spoiled our enjoyment...the volume of the music, the very loud group of very happily inebriated people whose strident voices and loud laughing wasn't conducive to eating or normal conversation. And thirdly, the lovely little dog at the next table. I love them, and have no objection to dog friendly places. But he shouldn't have been allowed on the bench seat next to his humans. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want to feel comfortable, sat with friends to have the owner constantly giving dirty looks to our table. Food wise, if you walk to the ladies toilet you can partly see the kitchen where the floors don’t seem brushed and sides look dirty even when the kitchen is closed at night. Makes me wonder if they are cleaning it proper ever as always seems to be same way.

My grandsons 18 yesterday the food fantastic x the staff were brilliant they even had put balloons on the table. Made are special night so amazing
Me and my friend went for the bottomless cocktail brunch, the atmosphere was lovely, great value for money and would highly recommend.
Had a wkend in Southport and had a couple of beers there not a bad place enjoyed it
