Lovely to see a Tea Room in Brockville, I am very pleased. I had a Cornish Pasty (yummy) and a scone (which was excellent) and Earl Grey Tea for lunch. It was so nice to have tea in a real tea pot with a cosy and real china dishes. I love the colours that Cosies has used to decorate...very pretty. I am planning to return soon and bring friends to try the breakfast and come for lunch or tea again. The only suggestion I have is to have some smaller tables for two that can be pushed together as I felt bad taking a table for four by myself. The prices seemed to be quite reasonable. I'm looking forward to a return visit.
Warren and I had a fabulous meal at Cosies this morning. He the full English breakfast and I, a mushroom, cheese sausage omelette with pan fries. Well prepared and served piping hot by a delightful server. We couldn't resist sharing a scone with clotted cream preserves for dessert--scrumptious! Well done Alison, Paul staff--you're going it right and we know you'll be wildly successful. Cheers!
My sisters and I enjoyed a lovely brunch. Tea was excellent, scones and clotted cream were outstanding as well as the generous breakfast of eggs, sausage, blood pudding and fried bread. Service was very efficient and friendly. The staff went above and beyond by presenting a scone with a candle and birthday wishes and song! Made my sister's day: Thank you and we'll see you again.
Have been MANY times it is a wonderful place to stop. Food and tea are always incredible!! Service is fantastic as well. The scones with clotted cream and jam are always my favourite but I have tried every vegetarian option there is available. My only complaint would be how difficult it is to choose from all the delicious options. Will continue to come back!!
We highly recommend this restaurant! Having lived in the UK for several years, we have always loved the traditional tea rooms there. In our view, Cosies truly captures the essence of an authentic British tea room, complete with friendly staff and a delightful ambiance. Every time we visit, it feels like we’ve been transported back to our old home!
I've visited several times and have always come away pleased. The homemade clotted cream is absolutely divine, and I might just be addicted to the chocolate orange scones. The crumpets are incredible, and the Cornish pasty is simply fantastic. The service is always quick and friendly. This has become my new favorite spot in Brockville.
What a delightful hidden gem! The owners are incredibly welcoming, and all the food is homemade, including the clotted cream! During our multiple visits, we enjoyed cream tea, pasties, open toasties, and jacket potatoes. I highly recommend you check it out—it's truly an amazing experience!
Definitely will return. Tried the pasty today. A small salad in a lite vinaigrette would have been nice on the plate...or maybe serve pasty on smaller plate. Looked very lonely on the big plate it was served on. Very reasonably priced. Looking forward to trying the scones next time.
They’ve really hit the right mark here not too twee, comfy, professional service and, most importantly, delicious and well prepared homemade food. Try the Cornish pasty made with puff pastry and end with a perfectly made pot of tea with homemade scones and clotted cream.
