This is your neighborhood, authentic Italian deli with no frills—definitely plan on takeout only (and remember, it’s cash only). But let me tell you, it serves the best sandwich you'll find in North Jersey! I ordered the number 5 for a party, and it was a massive hit! Everyone wanted to know where it came from. I highly recommend the #1 for meat lovers and the #8 if you're a fan of turkey. You really can't go wrong with any of them. Trust me... they’re delicious!
The traditional Italian sub #1 was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub hot prosciutto might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it 's better to come in from that direction.
Wow!!! This is hands down the best sandwich I’ve had since my last visit here. The bread was incredible!! The fresh mozzarella was divine, and the meats were freshly sliced! The service was outstanding, complemented by genuine conversation! It has that charming old-world vibe—New Jersey style! I can't wait to come back. We tried the number one sandwich.
