Cotes Et Bouchons

While cycling along the canal Brest-Nantes there isn't much to eat or dring so we were lucky to see this place from the bridge. This place doesn't pretend anything but you get decent food for a small price. We took the 3 course lunch for 14.5 euro and it was worth the money spent. Friendly and fast. So what else does one want when cycling. The Covid-19 rules were followed strictly which was comforting. So if you follow the canal by bike, good place to refuel.

We stumbled upon this place on our travels through France, what a find! Choice of two dishes on the 2 course menu de jour for 17 euros, both the steak cooked on a charcoal grill and the chili were delicious. Creme caramel and tiramisu also very tasty. Excellent value for money and popular with locals. Staff understand English and are very friendly. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

This was a lovely steakhouse with brilliant food and outstanding service. I reccomend the cote de boeuf. The red hair chef is very kind and welcoming.
