Co'the-Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We stopped in Brantome en Perigourd on our way home from a holiday in The Dordogne. It is a very pretty town sitting on the river Dronne. Small cobbled streets, independent shops and restaurants, and an opportunity to sample the local delicacy 'Tarte au Noix du Perigourd '. We stopped for coffee and then lunch at the very quirky but completely brilliant Co 'the-Cafe, sitting outside on the street, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a perfect coffee as the world went by. The salads, pancakes and quiches were first class and the friendly, accommodating staff reflected the independent modern France we experienced on our trip. Beautiful cafe in a side street. There is a vast choice, very well presented, with friendly and efficient service. The cakes are exquisite, and the decorations are unusual and interesting. A definite favourite place to visit.

We first tried this on 1st November and tried their soup and quiche. All homemade and superb value. The staff are superb friendly and attentive. It is now our regular stop even if just for a coffee.

Lovely welcoming place. Salads and poke bowls plus crepes. Welcoming staff who accommodated us and our children. Fantastic vintage mod and music art on the walls. Garden out the back.

Lovely little find. We sat at the back which was peaceful and a great sun spot. Recommend the salmon salad and tuna quiche. Would come back!
