Everything about the evening was nice and relaxing. The ambiance (a relaxed, feel in a vintage space) and service was excellent, as our waiter was attentive just at the right points of the meal. The shrimp cocktail and wedge salad to start were both fresh and delicious. The blackened grouper was excellent as was the seafood pasta dish, with generous portions of lobster. Decaf cappuccino finished the lmeal nicely. We took the triple chocolate mouse and key lime pie home for dessert-both were outstanding!

The food and service were excellent, but we were disappointed that the restaurant wouldn't allow us to combine the Marriott 10% discount on food with the $9.00 gate fee for Sea Pines. We could only use one or the other. Our group felt this was a bit stingy, especially considering we spent over $400 for dinner for four people. It left us with a negative impression.

Always a very quiet, intimate dining experience. Have visited many times....limited, but, varied menu. Great cocktails and wine list. Only disappointment this time was no recognition of date's birthday. Highlighted it on reservation...generally, some birthday treat at conclusion of dinner....not sure who dropped the ball, but, disappointed.

She crab soup and fried green tomatoes were excellent . Main courses: grilled shrimp very good but spinach was a little bitter. The accompanied polenta cake was great as well as the Tasso ham. The one disappointment was my Corvina fish. It was a thin piece and overcooked and dry. Service and atmosphere was top notch. Reserva una mesa ahora

This was our first visit to CQs in several years, and we were pleasantly reminded of just how wonderful it is! It will definitely be one of our favorite dining spots from now on. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was exceptional. If we could make one request, it would be to please restock your IPAs!

The best food we had in Hilton Head this trip. The fried green tomatoes were the best ever! The crab bisque was nice. And we loved the shrimp with polenta entree! The key lime pie was fabulous. Love the ambiance of the historic restaurant. It has stood the test of time due to reliability!

Our server, Anika, was amazing! She was both informative and attentive. Her sister, who was the bartender, crafted excellent martinis. Everyone enjoyed their meals, but the Ahi Tuna and the red snapper special were the highlights.

Always a favorite for our family. We have never had a bad meal over the many years we have been going to CQs. P.S. We do miss the homemade tri-flavored butter on the granite slab. ?

The calamari was fantastic, but our steaks were tough and difficult to cut and chew.
