Crêperie Le Médicis

This place made it clear from the outside they actually do not like customers. There are several signs and warnings about what customers should not do or even try, and what fines and punishments we could incur if we would make an attempt to enter. Properly cowed and intimidated we took our business elsewhere, where we spent lavishly, enjoyed it to the full without fear, and tipped the smiling staff liberally.

Excellent little place just down the road from Château de Chenonceau. Very friendly service and extremely yummy savoury galettes and sweet crèpes. Oh and the craft cider is scrumptious. An excellent way to relax and refuel after visiting the castle. Just what we needed. A big hit with our three children too. Our one year old couldn't stop stuffing his little face with a cheese galette! Thank you!

My rillon and cheese galette was excellent thin, airy and crunchy pastry with a cheese filling topped with rillon (sautéed pork). But my wife found her salmon salad rather bland. We started with the house cocktails, which were tasty enough, drank cider with the meal, and finished with coffee. €52 for two, a fair price.

just before visiting the castle of blouse we make a stop in this crêperie that deserves the detour! good welcome, good table and good seat! good choice of pancakes for all tastes ... very good ! and special mention for this cider that we found high (see photo) I hold this address and bravo to the master crêpier ! the menu is not very varied but the quality is excellent. we ordered two salads, one with bacon and one with smoked salmon. both delicious, what it took for a light lunch. very kind owner, pleasant local along the road to the castle of chenonceau .
