Cucina des Evens - Reservar una mesa

Had a horrible experience eating here on holiday. Would advise to AVOID at all costs! Was excited to try the truffle pasta, which at €23 was pricey but well worth that price tag when cooked properly...but unfortunately this was far from the case at Cucina des Evans. The pasta was completely tastless and after giving feedback to the manager about the inedible plate, was hoping to be offered an alternative meal, an apology or a refund on this dish however recieved none of the above. Instead we were subjected to a rude, defensive and unprofessional display from the Manager who accused us of having no understanding of taste and said nobody else complained. Given the excellent decor and prime location on the beachfront near avenue de Gaulle, we expected mediocre food and service. But in fact the welcome and service were very pleasant. As for food, the antipasto verdure (grilled vegetables with roquette) was very good, and the pizzas (regina and calabrese) were also very good. In fact, the calabrese is as close as the French get to a pepperoni pizza. As for wine, we were happy that we splurged on the €30 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

We had a late dinner in this cozy Italian restaurant. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and good food. We ordered Carpaccio for starter and Pizza`s Pasta´s as main course. Food was tasty and looked good. Also good selection of italina wines and excellent Limoncello was offered. Special bonus for funny FIAT 500 as a decoration.

This was our 3rd visit and our lunch was great! The pizza's are delicious and the large salad with jambon, burrata , tomatoes and basil, was very fresh and tasty. Excellent and friendly service, with a nice view of the ocean from the outdoor patio. We'll go back again!

Stopped here en route home from our holidays and had a really lovely meal. Fantastic atmosphere out on the prom, really good Italian food, and our waiter OG (Orellion? went above and beyond to provide a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend
