We stumbled onto Cucina one night looking for
Better than average Italian food... and that is exactly what we got. With little expectation we were quite surprised! They squeezed us in as we didn't have a booking and they were really busy with restaurant full and an event upstairs. Waiting staff fantastic, quick and busy but didn't miss a beat, owner swans around but adds a friendly style to the restaurant which seems to make many of diners happy! We both had pasta and both dishes were hearty and delicious. We will definitely be returning!!
Went in for breakfast during the week. There were only 4 other diners in the restaurant. The waiter didn't say anything when he came to the table, and despite me saying thank you, he walked away without a word.
Food was really amazing, and the coffee was small but also quite good. If the service was as good as other people have said then it would have been a much better experience.

These guys know service. Ten of us rock up with our own wine. They poured them with a smile and then the food started to come. Wow, tasty like nonna's.!the size of the portions is southern Italian LARGE. Worth every penny, this is a must visit venue.
Perfect service on Valentine's Day when the restaurant was incredibly busy. The food was amazing and I could eat that gnocchi for the rest of my life. Cannot compliment the service enough though - will definitely return!
Mediocre to say the least.
Hubby ordered steak that was $40 and was cold. I had pasta that was average and nothing special ( I could have made it at home)
very disappointing.
The staff at Cucina make this place - they are friendly, attentive and ensure you are being looked after.
