Cumberland Grind Espresso Smoothie

I wanted to try out a new coffee spot. I went to order my coffee and this lady came to serve me, she looked like she was in her mid 30s and had strawberry blonde hair. Right away I felt like she didn’t want to be there, and she had a sour attitude towards me. She spoke with a very straight forward voice and seemed like she wanted me in and out. I got my coffee and said thank you to her, she didn’t say anything just gave me a smirk and rolled her eyes. I decided to sit down and dine for a bit. I watched her serve others and she was sour and rude towards them as well. The coffee was quite good, I think this shop has very good potential. They just need to rethink who they higher.

What a great discovery! This charming little spot only has a few seats, but that’s just fine. I decided to take my coffee to go and enjoyed it in the nearby park. The service was fantastic. In contrast, I had a disappointing experience at The Grind in Courtenay, where I was served a latte that was scalding hot. When I asked the barista about it, she explained that this is their usual way of preparing coffee. I wasn't impressed with the service, but I assume it was just that particular person. I needed a second cup to pour my drink into, and both cups were still steaming, so I had to wait quite a while before I could enjoy my coffee, which ended up tasting burnt.

This charming little spot offers excellent drinks and snacks, conveniently located downtown near all the attractions. It's perfect for a quick morning beverage or a refreshing break during the day. Absolutely awful service. Very rude red head/strawberry blond woman working who was treated the elderly woman in front of me and myself like garbage. This woman treats everyone so horribly and the manager does nothing about it. Save your money and go somewhere else. Cute little cafe, you go in and order and go outside and pick up your food and coffee from the side. Nice but limited seating area outside and welcoming workers. Would go again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a charming little restaurant with a wonderful vibe. The service was excellent, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. It's a great place to dine in!
