Custom House Hotel

On Sunday my international friends wanted to visit an Australian pub meal. Customs house being local was our choice, that the food was better than expected. Seafood platters for one where huge and offered great variety. What we didn't expect was such fantastic and friendly service from the waitress who attended us the whole night. Quite often they are just there to do a job, this waitress was jovial, friendly and went out of her way to give us great attention even organising extra garlic bread. My friends are still talking about her and comparing the service to many places. It made for such an enjoyable evening, and I'll be definitely visiting again.

I have been here 3 times in two weeks. This is how much I like this place. The food is very very good and the sauces are over the top, really incredible, no matter if it's the wine-butter-garlic sauce for seafood or the red wine juice for the steak or the faboulous butterscotch for the sticky date. This place is awesome. The only problem they have, and that's why my rate is not a 5/5, is the beer list: honestly, it's a bit poor, and you expect more in a pub, especially in the matter of craft beers

I had a great meal at this pub. The steak booze pie was delicious, with chunky steak in just the right amount of sauce and a crunchy case. I also tried the parma, which was very moist. The wait staff were friendly with a good sense of humor. The only downside was that the food took a while to come out, and the cover band that started playing was a bit loud for the size of the crowd. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

I we recently dinned at customs house hotel for lunch on 21/04/2019 located at 161 nelson place williamstown the meals where reasonbly good and the waitstaff where also very good and the meals serviced promptly also the mens room was spotless clean i could not fault it so therefore i give them a rating 16/20/ i highly recemmend this hotel Reserva una mesa ahora

My wife and I visited the restaurant on a hot Monday afternoon. We enjoyed a delicious pork belly appetizer followed by perfectly cooked and beautifully presented pork ribs and grilled salmon for our main courses. We were very pleased with our meal and want to compliment the chef for their excellent work. Thank you!

I came with a few friends and I ordered the chicken parma as well as a raspberry lemonade. Everyone's drinks took a while to come out and we had to go ask for them. That's my only real complaint, otherwise the food was quite yummy and filling and the service staff were very friendly and attentive.

A great pub, good atmosphere and staff happy to help with any requests, we were a large group that dropped in without a booking and the team were happy to help. Wide menu and well prepared dishes, usual range of drinks all at reasonable prices.

Have been here a few times for dinner. The food is always good. Tonight we had chicken special and carbonara pasta. Both meals were beautiful. Service is great also and not over priced. Always come back. Reserva una mesa ahora

The service is always friendly and the meals are served quickly. We were patient when dividing the bill among a large group. The food is consistently delicious, making it our preferred pub.

yesterday 21/12/17, had more that we booked for but staff were great and seated everyone. Service and Food was excellent. I would highly recommend the hotel to everyone.
