Dairy Queen - Reserva de mesa

This feels petty to leave a review of a Dairy Queen, but having been to likely one hundred across Texas, I have to say we have found the worst. We stood in line with a handful of other people for 25 minutes. Staff would not take orders because kitchen needed to catch up . Yes, we should have left. Finally, a few more orders were taken, including the locals in line behind us. Their food was brought out within five minutes. Our food took typical slow DQ prep time of 15-20. So all in, if you have 45 minutes to wait, come in for the traffic jam at this Texas stop sign. If you must, use the drive thru.

The lady behind the counter practically ignored me. They were short handed and she had to take care of the drive thru. I get that, but when a coworker came in she had time to talk to her for about 5 minutes then went back to the drive thru, all while I was standing at the counter. The person cooking even told her I was there and she said to them that I would have to wait, because she had to take care of drive thru. Very disappointed in HER customer service. The woman employee (I did not see her name at the drive thru window was very friendly and polite! Got us our steak finger basket and snickers blizzard super quick. It's perfect, glad we stopped! (It's hit or miss with DQ's these days. And this part is exciting for me being that I worked at Dairy Queen when I was about 16 yo.......she flipped my Blizzard upside down!!!!! It might still be a thing but not every employee does it. Love it!

Went through the drive thru and the gentleman was excellent with service. No business in the restaurant and yet they wouldn 't wait on us. Even when someone said, they 're leaving ; no one made any attempt to get us to come back in!! Went across the street to Sonic!! Got great service and good food.
