Dairy Queen (treat)

This has been my go-to ice cream shop for a long time, but it seems like the management is having some operational difficulties. As a customer, that's the impression I've gotten. The store isn’t always very clean when I visit, and the restrooms could use significant improvement. I do want to commend the staff—they're young and truly trying their hardest to serve customers promptly, but it’s challenging with only two of them working. They could really use more help or better pay.

I purchased a cake today at 2 PM in Vaudreuil-Dorion for my twins' birthday. Unfortunately, the older woman who served me was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. She even used offensive language in French, which I understood. We ended up in an argument, and when I asked to speak to the manager, she replied, "I am the manager." Can you believe that? It's clear she doesn't know how to handle customers. I was treated very poorly, and I'm truly disappointed.

The restaurant is alright, but it's evident that there wasn't a manager present during the night shift. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and was informed that I could only order pre-made items since they were shutting down their equipment and had already begun cleaning. Consequently, there were no Blizzards available—your signature ice cream was not an option. This is disappointing, which is why I usually prefer other Dairy Queen locations.

This Dairy Queen closes at 9:30 PM, and when I got there at 9 PM, I saw a line stretching all the way to the door. As I waited, it was clear that there was a lack of effective management in place. The smell was off-putting, and the counters were quite dirty. To top it off, they announced they were out of ice cream, seemingly just to speed things up and avoid serving the rest of the customers. I really like Dairy Queen, but unfortunately, it's quite dirty. The floors and tables are generally unclean, with crumbs and melted ice cream found behind the counters. I even noticed some money lying around in that area. It’s obvious that the staff isn't taking their responsibilities seriously, which is really disappointing.

Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience that made us feel like an inconvenience, even though the store was still technically open. I don’t intend to return to this location due to the unwelcoming atmosphere.

This restaurant tends to be quite busy, particularly in the summer when ice cream is popular. Generally, the staff provides friendly service with a smile.

I stopped by to pick up an ice cream birthday cake and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and attentive. I would rate them an A+! Reserva una mesa ahora

The ice cream cake was truly wonderful and perfect for any occasion. The service was exceptional as well.
