Hit or miss with Dale's. So, I used to live on 280. At one point my whole family had a love affair with Dale's but we go back and forth on it. I don't live close now so we rarely go anymore, but we went pretty often when we first moved to 280 and sometimes it was awesome and sometimes it was mediocre. The service is usually pretty good and the atmosphere is nice. I do wish they'd kind of specify that they lean more towards a gulf/Cajuny kind of Southern, cause most of what they have isn't North Alabama Southern, so if you are lookin' for fried chicken and biskits this might not be your place.
The food was delicious. But, upon entering there was an odor that I wasn’t sure I could overcome. I’ve been here before. This was the first time I’ve experienced the odor.
Good. Dale's is a pretty good place to get vegetables. Nothing spectacular, but with so few meat and veggie restaurants in town, it is one of our go-to restaurants.
It was one of the best meat and three meals I’ve ever had. The place was spotless, and the service was excellent! The staff worked together seamlessly as a team!

Food comes out fast, hot, and perfectly cooked. Drinks get refilled before you even realize they’re getting close. Love the Colombian accent of my waitress

This is one of the better spots in Birmingham—a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit.
