This light and airy cafe has super friendly staff and spectacular food and drinks! The menu consisted if item after item of deliciously appealing goodies. The sweeter items like the waffles looked amazing, but I decided to go savoury and have the breakfast bruschetta with an egg. I also had one of their visually stunning smoothies which tasted as good as it looked! The breakfast bruschetta was a step above your ordinary bruschetta and came with pancetta and broccolini. It was hearty and very satisfying. I loved the smoothie as well but was full to the brim by the end of my meal - I hardly needed to eat for the rest of the day! Trendy vibe pleasant decor with attentive and friendly waitstaff.My first time back after some time, coffee was ok. My companion ordered the sticky date/fig pancakes and she was very happy, sadly my meal of choice -the zucchini fritters was simply awful. Even before I tasted them, on arrival they appeared as though they were deep fried and left with an oily exterior and had a bland floury texture and I could barely make out any visible signs of zucchini being present, bar from a few tiny dark green flecks. The fritters were topped with an orange mash of sorts, which had a terribly unpleanst sour taste to it. I left it to one side and tried to eat the fritters. I would not recommend the fritt...

After walking around Southbank we wanted somewhere relaxed, casual but still upmarket for brunch.It was an easy 9min drive from the CBD. There is ample paid parking across the street from the cafe. Cheap at $1.60/hr.We ate a leisurely lunch and ordered their famous smoothies. I had the Thomas Edison- served in a light bulb of course! The lamb was also cooked to perfection.The service was friendly and laid back. I can see why it is a local favourite.

Had brekkie here with friends on a Sunday. I ordered the Grilled French Toast with Cinnamon Sugar, Mascarpone Mousse, Maple & Fresh Berries which was so fresh and delicious. Looks almost too good to eat too with the little flowers sprinkled over the top. Good service and we weren't rushed to finish so the table could be turned over which was lovely. Fantastic service in this beautiful brunch spot. The service was brilliant and the coffee was perfect! The food was great, with a fantastic range on the menu. I had the Veggie Breakfast - which included every extra I had ever hoped of adding on to your usual eggs on sourdough. Will definitely be back!! Thankyou!

Popped in here with a couple of friends following the ANZAC day memorial service for an early breakfast and we all absolutely loved the place. Beautiful decor, wonderful staff, good food and fast service. Our chilli scrambled eggs and fritters were fun and tasty and I will definately be back!

Stayed in South Yarra for 6 days and ate breakfast here 4 out of the 6, and that was only because we had excursions the other two days!!! Staff are so friendly and the food is delicious! Such a variety of dishes to choose from! Would definitely eat here again if I'm back in Melbourne!!
