This is my first time at Dave and Buster‘s since Covid. It was a hot mess. The place is still aesthetically beautiful. Great bar and lots of fun games. I am guessing they were understaffed because we sat for a while, trying to figure out how to use our phone to put the order in in case the waiter never came. He came, took our order got the video game cards for our kids and left. A little while later two stooges showed up with a tray of food and just put it all on the table with no attempt to put it in any proper order or place. The food was sadly yucky. This is a typical burger and barbecue restaurant with a sporty vibe. The waiting staff could have been more attentive, especially given that we were a party of nine. We had specific requests regarding food preparation, and it took some time to get our dressing cleared and our bill sorted for all the orders. Nonetheless, we left a generous cash tip of over $20.
I hosted a big birthday party for two 8-year-olds and around 30 of their friends. Our server, Anna, was fantastic—so patient and personable. Most importantly, she was incredibly efficient and organized. She really took great care of our group! Many thanks to the kitchen, the management, and especially Anna! Everyone had a wonderful time!
Excellent service. Accommodated our request to watch our team on a really big screen even though not local. Food was quite good. Noise level was acceptable for the venue. I didn’t know there was a large “kids’ casino” in the back by the restrooms. That was extremely loud. Glad it didn’t leak into the sports viewing area.

Our burgers were ordered well done and they were not. Waited for quite some time and didn’t want to send it back. One of the 4 burgers was ordered with back on and didn’t get that. Had to send that back…Kids didn’t eat the food
Some of the food we ordered was not prepared how we asked for it. Waitress was great but seemed that they could have used more help. Had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table.
the staff was very nice, but very slow. they are very understated in the dining room and in the bar. it took an hour to get a drink at our table, no exaggeration.
Dave and Buster's in Islandia is the ideal destination for a family outing! The food is delicious, and there are fantastic games to enjoy!

Hostess on 7/16/2022 at 9:00 gave my reserved seats away to the party before and made us wait got in the building at 8:58
The perfect location for a 13th bday party! Please remind folks to buy the bracelet, rather than just the game card!
