The place is utterly gorgeous. It is completely upscale and pretentious in the best way, which allows me to give 2 stars. The service from the wait staff is impeccable as well. The food is a whole other story. Many of the options that we ordered were way too heavily doused with Black pepper, and everything is as overpriced as could be. My wife's wine was sour, and the sommelier made a face when getting her another bottle. Don't allow the customer to taste if you don't want the opinion. After sinking 500 bucks into a dinner that wasn't worth it, we decided not to return. Was a nice place food was good.Very expensive . When you serve occobucco it should be on a bed of risotto, not mashed potato. The only veg was spinach. An Italian place no broccoli Raabe. It was a birthday They put the candle in my dessert because he did not order dessert. Really when you spend over 300$ you cant put icecream on a plate with a candle. Yes it is a nice resturaunt but you miss it on the small things. Go to the North end in Boston,then you we see the difference
Family was out of town, so my wife and I decided to go out and have Christmas Eve dinner here and we were delighted we did. Staff were very courteous and attentive. The wine that was suggested went perfectly with dinner. My wife loved the homemade lasagna and my lamb chops were cooked perfectly. I think my wife's new favorite dessert is the affogato, she couldn't stop talking about it. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Osteria is serving lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. Smaller portions are available for lunch. Our server was very attentive and friendly. My lunch partner had the Ciabatta which comes with a side salad and it was large enough for 2 people. Bread was fresh tasty. I had the ravioli with walnut pesto sauce. It was incredible. To top it off I had pistachio gelato. Definitely would recommend.

We absolutely adored Osteria Umbra! The grilled calamari was outstanding, and the black truffle taglierini served in a cheese wheel was expertly prepared by Ethan. Our entrees were fantastic, and to top it all off, Sabrina's tiramisu was simply magnificent. Cassandra, Carlos, Lyana, and the entire team provided exceptional service and attention. We will definitely be returning!
I have visited Osteria Umbra multiple times with my wife and family. The staff consistently provides excellent service, being attentive to any food allergies within our group and offering recommendations to make sure everyone enjoys their meal. The food is always outstanding, with seasonal changes that keep the menu exciting.
Took my friends there for the first time and everyone was impressed from the olive oil and bread to the ribeye everything was on point , amazing apps and pasta as well . Very expensive but worth it for the quality
Everything was delicious!! The service was great. The prices were a bit on the expensive side but a great choice for a special occasion when you want to treat yourself or others and splurge.

Buratta app was awesome. Prosciutto was top notch. Large app Manager came to welcome us. Remembered the wine we like Specials sounded good. A white truffle risotto for two was. delicious.
Well managed place. Food is great, tends to be pricey as in many places these days.
