After a lovely hike in the Nathan Bedford Forrest state park, we were feeling both hungry and totally icky about the commemorative **** and quotable quotes book for sale in honor of the eponymous despicable KKK leader. We had the most pleasant stop on the way home at the DayMaker Cafe and washed off that awful ick with delicious sandwiches, welcoming and clean restrooms (for all identities), and super fun toys for my toddler to play with while we are. Service was super fast and friendly too. What a serendipitous oasis after a troubling stop at the museum in the park. My hats off to the owner/operator. I'd buy your commemorative merch if you sold it!

We had heard that this place had a great coffee, so after a day of hiking in N.B. Forrest State Park we decided to stop on the way home. It was great, one of the best coffees I tasted. My husband had an icy caramel latte and I had an icy white chocolate latte both were excellent. The owner was so nice and went out of her way to make her right. She also suggested that we go to the corner of Daylight Gallery, which presents all local craftsmen. This place is also great, and we bought a painting by Erik Stonebraker. The lady there was also very pleasant. We are sure that we have stopped and will do this again at any time.

On the drive from Nashville to Memphis we took a detour to kill some time. Found ourselves in Camden in need of a cuppa. Didn't hold out much hope, but we uncovered a gem! Coffee got made to suit our taste and Earl Grey tea too. But the best surprise in this quirky cafe was the delicious food. Aloha Wrap and a Shrimp Quesadilla were our choices and we loved them. This is the third State we've visited on this trip and weve eaten a lot, but the DayMaker is first rate for food! Friendly staff too. The food was great and so was the service! The chicken Pesto Flatbread was brilliant; Chicken, tomatoes, cheese... Did I eat healthy? The BLT was PERFECT! That meant it was on the perfect toast, the perfect amount of bacon, salad, tomatoes and Mayo. I bought the cheese leaf for my daughter. She finished it and wrote to me that she likes it... All the way from the living room. So if you live in Camden TN or just go through, this little cafe is a great idea for lunch! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is so good! We just stopped on a trip between Murray, KY and Decaturville, TN, and we are pleasantly surprised. The dishes and coffees were excellent. We had two of the flatbreads – a Thai, a pesto and both were delicious. The staff is very nice. Homemade ice cream was free for our first visit. The ice creams were also wonderful! We'll definitely come back here! And the place is super sweet!
