"Way exceeded my expectations for a “commercial-kitchen style.” In the photo are the Vietnamese coffee and rare steak beef noodle soup (pho bo tai). Bonus points for the huge and hassle-free parking lot."

Somehow in my 20 odd years of life I have avoided eating at a Vietnamese restaurant of any kind my whole life. Not something my family ever went for growing up, so its not a usual thing for me and definitely out of my comfort zone. Finally tried it by eating at DD Mau and it was definitely the kind of food, atmosphere, and customer service that makes me not only want to eat Vietnamese food again, but definitely return to this restaurant. The food was delicious, filling, and healthy, it arrived on time and accurate to my and my companions order. We also had to comment on the potion sizes being so good for the price. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of sauces and napkins available up by the front for self-serving. Now I want to try other Vietnamese places as well, but I will definitely be returning to this one !!

The food is fresh, colorful, crisp, and a mixture of tastes and textures. I love the shrimp and spring rolls, the Vietnamese vinaigrette, peanut sauce, and the Bao Sliders. They are my absolute favorite. This is a great place to order food for people with diet restrictions as every item on the menu can be customized. It's a gem of a place in Maryland Heights!

Because it was only $10 I’m not ‘upset’ but I probably wouldn’t go back. Ordered fried rice with chicken. Not a lot of veggies in the rice, not enough chicken, and the chicken is sliced thin so it wasn’t very tender. For me this was more of a side dish in quality, but definitely enough rice to fill yourself.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants of all time! The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and their food is always exceptional. My go to meal is the vermicelli bowl with vegan beef which has a flavor that is nearly IDENTICAL to real beef. Highly recommend!
