As someone who was part of the original team that opened The Diamond Bar Del Taco in 1973, I felt it was fitting to return for dinner on its 50th anniversary while I was in the area. Although the names have changed and the restaurant has aged, the food remains consistently excellent. The location was very clean, and the employees were friendly and hardworking. The food was just as great as I remembered. I showed the counter attendant my name badge and an old black-and-white photo from 1973, and I think he was a bit shocked that someone from that era was still around, which was quite amusing! Had to send a positive review for this location. Been coming here forever, and although there have been times in the past where the food and service were below standard, this has improved. Staff was pleasant and there were no issues with the food. The location is not the newest, but the staff keeps the inside clean. I recommend using their app for discounts and freebies.
This del taco is on my way home from work. The guy at the window during my 1pm to 2pm drive home, is so friendly and accommodating. I love stopping by here. The customer service is fast, friendly, and accurate. I have not had any trouble at this del taco. Will always be stopping by here any chance I get.
It's in a busy shopping center in Pomona. So the atmosphere is not all that great. It's not bad but the food is delicious, especially tacos de cabeza.Parking: Some parking is tight due to the many businesses but you will always find a space.
