Large taiyaki: They make these large taiyaki fresh to order and have an assortment of flavors (custard, red bean, chocolate, sweet potato, blueberry cream cheese, apple mango). The outside is super crispy, but also has a v nice chewy texture. They also really pack in the fillings, so every bite is perfect. 4 for $12 feels pretty reasonable for the size they are just be careful not to bite into it too fast because the inside can be piping hot. You can get the large, fresh taiyaki with your choice of filling, as well as smaller pastries with various fillings, including mini taiyaki, corn, and walnut options. I've seen fillings like standard custard, red bean, chocolate, cream cheese, and peanut butter. The walnut pastries even contain real walnut pieces. I love the chewy mochi texture of the taiyaki, and I also enjoy the fluffy, soft pound cake texture of the corn (manjooya).

While looking for a delicious treat, I discovered a charming little shop inside H Mart called Deli Manjoo. Everything on display looked tempting, so we decided to try both the mini and large sizes in various flavors. The mini versions were decent, but the made-to-order larger ones were truly unbeatable. We sampled the sweet potato and blueberry cream cheese flavors, and I highly recommend both! They were delightful! Located in the H Market. We love these baked goods. There used to be one in a nearby city, but closed down because of the pandemic. We ordered 4 flavors: Chocolate Red bean Blueberry with cream cheese Apple mango I loved the apple mango and blueberry ones! Then we bought minis as well but I forgot all the flavors we bought. All of these were tasty and I love it when it's freshly made. Employee was friendly. We just waited a few minutes while they were being prepared. Support your local businesses.
I came here before closing on a Sunday night and the cashier/worker was this sweet asian girl with blonde hair and glasses. Ive visited before and she has been the nicest worker so far. I got the 6 pieces for $5 and you can mix and match with the fish/corn shaped taiyakis and with the walnut shaped pastry with walnut and red bean. I prefer the batter with the corn starch which is cake like than the mochi like batter. The walnut pastries were pretty good!
I ordered the sweet potato taiyaki, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely my favorite so far. I also tried the blueberry cream, which was delicious and reminded me of a blueberry pancake! Lastly, I had the classic custard flavor, which was delightful and a solid choice. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

I really love the large sweet potato taiyaki. The texture is more mochi-like, which makes it my favorite. The sweet potato filling is sweeter than it used to be, though—I wish it were a little less sweet.
