I am very dissatisfied with my recent visit. When I went to pay for my food, the clerk informed me that my card had not gone through, even though everything seemed fine. Reluctantly, I swiped my card a second time. While waiting for my order, I checked my online banking and, as I suspected, there were two charges for my meal. I brought this to the attention of the manager/owner, who assured me that the duplicate charge was only pending and would not go through. However, the next morning, I noticed that both charges had processed in my bank account.

I returned today with some hesitation, as I enjoy barbecue and didn't want a full sit-down meal. In my previous visits, I noticed a sign on the door listing the items they were out of, and it seemed like there were more items unavailable than in stock! It was particularly puzzling that they were out of big baking potatoes, especially since there's a grocery store right in the same parking lot. They could easily pick up some potatoes until the next delivery arrives—it's not rocket science. This might explain why they were previously owned. I have a suggestion regarding the lunch staff: it would be better if employees could be directed to use the back seating area instead of sitting at the first table by the entrance, especially since there isn't a designated lunch area for them. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, but I believe some improvements could elevate it to the next level. I'm glad to see that previous staff members have been replaced, and I hope the new employees receive proper training from Dickey's Barbecue Pit, particularly in customer service and professional appearance. The new owners have introduced exceptional service and delicious food! The atmosphere is wonderful! The meat was tender and flavorful, and I especially enjoyed the rolls of bread. I was delighted to find fried okra on the menu! We will definitely return to this specific restaurant in Roseville; it’s absolutely worth it! The new owners are extremely welcoming and possess a profound knowledge of the food industry. I can’t wait for the new ice machine to arrive! Thank you!

Usually, the food is fantastic, but tonight was disappointing. The prices were higher, the portions smaller, and the quality was lacking. The baked beans were hard, and the baked potato casserole was missing cheese, bacon bits, and onions. The dinner rolls were undercooked. I'll give Dickey's another chance, though—hopefully, next time will be better.
The staff was incredibly friendly and offered excellent menu suggestions for us as first-timers. Surprisingly, the creamy spinach was outstanding, especially for a BBQ place! The jalapeño cheese kielbasa had a fantastic kick to it, too!
I recently visited Dickey’s BBQ, my favorite spot in Roseville! The new owners, Jimmy and Armit, along with the team, did an excellent job! The food was amazing—the brisket was juicy and tender! Definitely stop by and give them a try!
We went in for a late lunch today and everything was great from the customer service to the food it was perfect the ribs fell off the bone the sweet tea was great and I just loved the potato salad. Great job.

The restaurant is open on Sundays and offers complimentary ice cream. Kids dine for free on Sundays, and the barbecue is outstanding!
So happy this place has opened again!! New owners are so amazing! Food is so fresh!!
