Cozy, relaxed, come right in and sit right down environment. There is metered parking right outside the door, Slightly tight so it pays to grab a spot before the dinner rush . We were warmly greeted in a familiar and friendly way at the door. The seating is casual as is the dinner ware, all comfortable and inviting. I've been a regular at this restaurant since I discovered it a few months ago, and I can confidently say it has the best bread I've ever had in a restaurant—no contest! My favorite dish is the Black Linguine al Scoglio Marinara; the fish is always perfectly cooked, avoiding the overcooked or rubbery texture that often comes with seafood pasta in restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, the waitstaff is attentive (they even offered us a free appetizer once when they misplaced our order), and the ambiance is warm and inviting.
With its inviting decor and tasty dishes, Dolphin South is certainly worth stopping by. The staff, owners included, were attentive and prompt. Our main courses arrived a bit earlier than anticipated, arriving before we had finished our appetizers, but it didn’t cause any major inconvenience. The restaurant was clean and well-lit, contributing to a welcoming ambiance. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, with the branzino emerging as a clear favorite.
Dolphin South is an incredible new hotspot. The atmosphere is cozy and makes you feel right at home. The food was outstanding, particularly the sautéed calamari in spicy tomato sauce. The waitstaff were warm and attentive. Giovanni, the owner, was friendly and approachable, even stopping by our table a couple of times. We can't wait to return soon!

Dolphin South is our go-to spot for authentic Italian cuisine in the area. Giovanni manages the restaurant superbly, and the food is absolutely delicious! Plus, it’s great for families—our daughter loves playing on the foosball table!
The pasta selection is fantastic, with all dishes made from scratch. The service was both friendly and attentive. I only regret not saving room for dessert—hopefully, I can try it on my next visit!
5-star local spot with authentic italian influence; lots of character, great vibes and tasty food. The owner is always near and put alot of heart into the space. Try it!!!
So-so, unimaginative food and ambience. Terrible acoustics. Some staffers were personable and all were efficient, but I don't see much here that would inspire a return.

The food at Dolphin South is exceptionally tasty and consistently fresh. Gio and the team are very courteous and attentive.
Tonight I had the soft shell crabs.They were awesome.
