Beautiful renovated residence surrounded by nature. The 4 rooms were made in an old barn and they have a lot of charm but are not accessible for elderly people who have difficulty getting around. The 5th bedroom is on the ground floor next to the gîte. Gaspard is very friendly and available and accommodating but he lives at 100 miles per hour because he has an extremely busy schedule. His table d'hôtes is tasty, he treats us to small Italian dishes since he was born in Rome. My only complaint is that its guesthouse operates more like a hotel since breakfast is not included in the already high room rate. The stay was pleasant and it's great not to have to use the car again to go to the restau...
I recommend this place very much! I would never have known about maison dodo or the bergerac area if not for a family start. I stayed in the maison (there are also freestanding bungalows). my room was spacious, clean, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. breakfast and dinner are optional and with additional costs, but I highly recommend using these offers. the next restaurants are open late, near 2 clocks and only open by 19 clocks. not to mention Chef gaspare makes amazing, homemade, common meals that rival the best restaurants in the environment. overall my experience in maison dodo during my trip was the most unforgettable. do not hesitate. book your room here because guaranteed space is sol...
Difficile de décrire cet endroit situé au milieu des vignes de Bergerac, au calme total. Charme garanti par le bâtiment et le jardin dès l’arrivée. Les chambres sont spacieuses, climatisées au besoin. Difficile de décrire la qualité de la table d’hôte tant les plats sont préparés avec délicatesse et amour, chaque jour renouvellés. De la réelle gastronomie faite maison avec des produits locaux en respectant vos préférences et allergies éventuelles, sans oublier des vins bio de qualité. Un réel plaisir de passer quelques jours dans un si bel endroit
We stayed at Gaspare's for 5 days at the beginning of July as part of a short motorcycle trip in the area.
