The food here is authentic. They also have a very clean restroom! It?s very good for a nice lunch (but NOT a lunch break if you go during your workday because the wait for food preparation is long). Pictured is the Beef burrito served with French fries; what?s also pictured is the Pollo con Tajadas (fried chicken with ?plantain? and cabbage).... this dish was good, but you should eat it while sitting at a table and not on the run. Also, the ?plantains? are not the sweet,
Visited this restaurant ordered several dishes. The Mondongo soup (tripe soup) I ordered was a complete miss! A gentleman next to me ordered the beef soup, and he received the same as me, the only difference...his had beef pieces and mine had tripe pieces. So, it was obvious that they make one big pot of vegetable soup and they add chicken, beef or tripe as it might be necessary. The service is very impersonal and very slow. I saw a gentleman get up and complained
Honestly every time we've ordered from the establishment there's always a compliant, but this last time is the final. There's always something missing or a messed up order. This last order we placed, we ordered regular baleadas and they added carne to it. Also the soup smelled spoiled. Never had we ever smelled a soup that terrible. Honestly this is the last time we will give this place a chance. It's just not worth it.
This was the second time that we ordered from Doña Tere but the truth was that it was not what we I expected. We ordered rice flour pupusas and plantain empanadas but the pupusas, in my opinion, I think they had too much seasoning or something like that because even the way they smelled they felt different. Maybe I have been pretty lucky, I saw many ppl complaints about waiting time and customer service. I only order delivery and pick up in store, so far so good. There was only one time I ordered 3 beef tongue taco, I think they ran out, they gave me 4 beef tacos, so I didn?t complained. Other than that, usually food was good and ready on time.
The Huevos con Chorizo was delicious. The Tacos de Carnita were also delicious. The Pupusa de Chicharon was very flavorful. The only downside was the Arroz Rice, which was dry and tasted burnt, it was overcooked.
First of all, I placed my order at 11:30 am and arrive at 1:49 pm, the limo saltado was too grease and didnt even taste like lomo saltado. The tamal de elote was good.

This place is my go to breakfast spot. I really need to try their lunch/dinner items next. I always enjoy the flavor and portions!
