After reading an article in the inner west courier about the Doughbox Diner, it was my new life’s mission to dine here. Rescheduling my week, I couldn’t wait another night and decided to go. Parking proved to be quite the challenge but after almost 25 minutes, we managed to find a spot. (But obviously street parking is beyond their control) Approaching the diner, the excitement was rising. It was like a breath of fresh air whilst walking in. Knowing that I wasn’t going to find a hipster in sight. Knowing that I wasn’t going to find quinoa on the menu. Knowing that they don’t serve some terrible trendy organic coffee. Knowing that there weren’t any healthy vegan options, straight away, I fel...

Great place! Limited seating but high turn around of customers, you don't wait long for a table. Staff are very courteous and welcoming. You usually have to order/pay at the counter but we had a group of 6 people (1 of which had to sit at the end of the booth in a chair due to an ailment) so our server offered to take our order and payment at the table. Excellent customer service. We ordered onion rings for starters - they were great! Super crispy and the sauce they come with is awesome! Has a nice tang to it. Our mains were the Fats Domino, Beanie Weanie Dog, Hawaii 5-0, a Classic Burger Cone and the What's Wrong McFly?. The burgers were great on all accounts, the Cone had a huge, almos...

Doughbox Diner is located in Brighton Le Sands on Bay street so it's slightly easier for you to find parking we know how hard parking can be on The Grand Parade. Doughbox Diner began as a simple pizza bar and creperie in 2009 and it's the home of the hand held crepe cone! It's no ordinary crepe cone either (keep scrolling to see why). Doughbox Diner seriously creates a different dining experience, it'll bring you to the classic American Diner vibe. They have an extensive menu which ranges from salads, sides, hotdogs, sandwiches and melts, chicken and waffle, burgers, crepe cones, burger cones, thickshakes, soda floats, hot drinks and a whole range of desserts.
Doughbox Diner is a great place with American vibes to grab some late night dinner around the area of Enmore. We ordered their Avocado Bite Savoury Crepe ($15), Melted Moment Crepe ($13) and an Old Fashioned Banana Split ($15) to share. The two crepes were both delicious and crispy and portions were generous. However, the Melted Moment Crepe did get a bit too sweet after a while. The Old Fashioned Banana Split was our favourite dish of the night. The Ice Cream flavours stood out and complemented the Banana perfectly. We will definitely be returning to try some of their burgers and other desserts!
Lovely service from the young man at the counter. We ordered crepes the Devine which had Nutella, banana and strawberry and the peanut butter one. Both were great however the crepe went hard quite quickly after it had cooled down. The decor is pretty cool, makes you feel as though you’re in an American diner.
Such a cool place with a real old school diner vibe. Really tasty burgers, fries and milkshakes. Really generous serving sizes too. The service is also really friendly. It can get quite busy here and the diner is small so you may have to wait around for a table. Would recommend for really tasty diner food Reserva una mesa ahora

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
