Overall a very nice experience; seated promptly with a reservation. Our server was thorough, helpful, and attentive. What struck me was how good everything smelled upon walking in. It made choosing an entree difficult but opted for the New York Strip while my wife chose the Buffalo Shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Our sides were excellent. The dining room, though mostly full, wasn’t too loud though I could see it being a bit noisy if you were looking for a quiet place to dine. I would dine here again and would be happy to explore the menu
The Downtowner is one of my favorite spots for special occasions. I've celebrated my birthday there for several years in a row. The service is always great. The staff are very friendly (special shout-out to our server, Kathleen), the food excellent, and the environment is very relaxing. Thanks for making my day very special
The service was awesome, outstanding. In time like these where most places are not staffed, the staff that are there are often not kind, it was a joy have a server that was engaged in delivering excellent service
Pavel, our server, was awesome and patient, was knowledgeable about the dishes, and kept the coffee flowing. Foiod was great, but elevated by the fantastic service. Highly recommend for brunch
