My wife n I had a lunch there before heading to the airport. We had a bowl of beef stew noodle, beef stirred fry rice noodle and 12 pcs boiled dumplings. The cost came up less than Aus 40.00. The beef was tender n tasty . The skin of the dumplings were a little too thick! The soyabean sauce added to the stir fry rice noodle was a bit too sweet! However, the overall rating of the fry noodle was good n steam hot which was an essential requirement of stir fry food in Chinese!After the lunch , we felt a little bit of thirsty which could be the result of MSG

Wow, this place was a good find. Having been to China previously I knew quite abit about dumplings and the ones here were sensational. We had some beautiful seafood fried rice, some roasted duck rice and some prawn steamed dumplings. It was fresh and flavoursome. Yum! Yum and Yum! The décor was fairly ordinary but had some authentic Chinese wall hangings and pictures on the walls which were good. The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend this place for a quick, healthy, tasty meal which was very reasonably priced.

My friend and I ordered a few steamed dishes: xiao long bao, prawn dumpling, red bean bao and the really tiny spring rolls (with tasteless filling). No side plates were offered to share these dishes between the two of us. The skin of the dumplings were too thick and rubbery like it was overcooked. Traditional Chinese service: brisk and frozen. Felt like I was talking to a snow man. It was so cold. More suited for a quick meal for office workers. In and out.

Easy to get to, they respect the food and we love a bit of the old BYO!There have been criticisms of this place for the lack of vegetarian options,as a vegetarian I'm not sure what they are complaining about? As I've experienced great service and they offered several dishes to be transformed into vegetarian. Easy! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is a regular for us when we are in Hobart.I love the Kung pao chicken as well as the sweet and sour pork.My partner loves the egg fried rice as well as a selection of dumplings and pot stickers.Don't be put off by the look of e shop, go in and give it a go.

Had a quick take away before 9 pm closing and still the dumplings and service was great. Also ordered the prawn laska soup and it was okay. The best part being the prawns and the worst being the noodles. The fried custard bun was delicious.... food heaven right there

Drove past this joint on the way to my hotel. Walked back as seeing the dumpling sign had me drooling. I shouldn't have bothered! Got the pan fried pork dumplings and they were hard and dry, instead of the juicy morsels I expect from a good pork dumpling. Pass!

The dumplings here are fantastic - we had the traditional pork dumpings, as well as fried dumplings, and they were all flawless and absolutely delicious!! Don't hesitate! Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was great and service and price were equally as good. It is plain seating style but it had a nice local feel like you were in a major city Chinatown.

I had laksa here two nights out of my five in Hobart. Great dumplings too! Good prices. Good service.
