Absolutely delicious! This restaurant skillfully combines Eastern and Western flavors, which is perfectly reflected in its name. It truly lives up to the concept! They take traditional Asian dishes and give them a unique twist in both flavor and presentation. My only regret is that I didn’t have the chance to try more. I had the pork buns, pork rice bowl, shrimp noodles, shishito peppers, a couple of drinks, and, of course, the dessert— the coconut bread pudding was outstanding! Their cocktails during happy hour, priced at $7, are a fantastic deal. I highly recommend this place!
Fantastic!!! We were debating between several places in Birmingham when we thankfully discovered East West. What a treasure of a restaurant! We dined outdoors and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, balancing attentiveness perfectly. I ordered the house cabernet, which was light yet enjoyable, while my companion opted for a craft beer. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps (as shown in the picture), which were exactly what we needed and set the tone for the rest of our meal.
Coming from out of town and researching the perfect spot for Valentine?s Day weekend, I knew this restaurant was the one. I made reservations at 7pm and already knew what I wanted to order. We got there 20 mins early and they were still able to sit us down promptly. Saturday night was busy, so it was a little loud. But the ambience and decor made up for it. I can?t say enough about the amazing experience I had planning a rehearsal dinner for my son and his wife! Mason was very responsive from the outset and stayed on top of every detail. The evening was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The team was incredibly attentive and the food was fabulous.
I really enjoy dining at this restaurant; the food is exceptional! I've visited twice, and each time the dishes have been consistently excellent. I had a fantastic time with friends at the bar! It was my first visit, and I was just looking for a light snack and a drink. Wow, the wings were incredible! The service was excellent, and the bartenders were great.
