I’m not even German and I loved this place. First of all the food was amazing, not a place that I would have thought to go but my wife asked me to pick a place. I thought that we should try something out of the ordinary with our kids for a difficult kind of experience. When we got there we were greeted by friendly staff. When we got seated we ordered food and drinks, all of the food that we got was delicious and different from our normal. The desert was amazing we had a hard time narrowing them down without picking all of them. Overall it was a 10 out of 10. They even had a lady come out and play music that was a real blast. Pretty busy when we went for a late lunch. The food was EXCELLENT! Really enjoyed the beers we got. Staff was so nice, just a little slow to tend to us after being seated... But they were busy. Got the Hefeweissbier Dunkel (fruity, light) and Warsteiner Dunkel (darker) both went well with our meal. We both got the same thing... Maultaschen... So good! Lots of food! They tempt you with beautiful deserts upon entering. I am sad we were to full to try any of them. Worth the expense! It was about 12 min drive from Garden of the Gods.

Our server, Dante was superb. His attention to our questions and food recommendations were spot on. He epitomizes customer service. He hits all of marks for top-tier qualities that you 'd want in a server: • knowledgeable • helpful • friendly • courteous • patient I know this is simply my humble opinion, but I do hope that you do not overlook the diamond you have in this employee. Also…. the food was excellent. 5 stars!

We absolutely LOVED this place! Everything about it was incredible, and both myself and my nephew had been to Germany. When they say authentic, it’s without a doubt authentically delicious! My boyfriend had never tried German food and he is sold! Customer service was perfect! Oh there Rum Cake, blew me away! We’re from California, but this place will now be a must every time we visit family in Colorado Springs!

We sat out at the biergarten. Zero complaints. Food was delicious and authentic. Mushroom gravy was flavorful with the snitzle. All deserts were good too. My favorite was the potato salad and pretzel. Overall, my entire meal and experience were excellent. Would go back again if it was closer. It's a far drive from thornton. Will be sure to stop back by anytime we are in the area.

My wife celebrated her birthday there and it was amazing! Highly recommend everything including the desserts! Without question my favorite restaurant in Colorado springs.

An institution of Colorado Springs! The food is authentic, the beer is good, the atmosphere is exactly what you think a Bavarian restaurant would be. I love coming here

As authentic to Germany and German food as I have eaten in the US. Great imported beers, the food was delicious and service was on point. We will be back

Their Maultaschen is made with chicken not beef and spinach. Not the same as in Germany. It was just alright. The heart cookies are amazing!!
