This is a very tired and old hotel, the better days room needs maintenance drastically toilet seat on the toilet the door on the balcony with a mess she has not seen enough people rent to clean the rooms in a contemporary way, so... the lobby is full of people waiting for room the only thing that it has to do is its great location
I stopped for lunch after a visit to the Queen Museum. I thought the food was good, but something dirty. The vegetable soup was good, but the apricot risotto was very average, although the concept was brilliant. Although I was there as a solo, I was politely appreciated, which is not always the case. The view is so beautiful!
Found this when walking along the lakeside. Sat outside for beer, then inside for food. I had club sandwich, which was good, and tasty. Service was good. Total bill for beer, sandwich with fries and a bottle of water was just over 35CHF so not...particularly cheap, but by present day Swiss prices, not surprising.
