Eating in a restaurant attached to a catering college is an intriguing prospect. So, too, was their once-a-week themed night which promised a platter of Thai dishes on the night we visited. The first thing to say is that everyone was extremely friendly, which translated to service that was a little unpolished. The second thing to point out is that the dining room is large, a little canteen-like, although with well-separated tables, and packed to the rafters with customers evidently eager to experience a cut-price dinner. I have visited Edmunds with friends several times in the past few months and it has been fantastic every time. The staff are all lovely and we have gotten to know some of the students and watch their skills, confidence, and careers grow. The food is consistently amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure a perfect dining experience. We mostly go for the weekly Themed Evenings during term time, but they also offer snacks and lunches. It's important to note that they are not open every day, so be sure to check before your visit. Visited this week for lunch and I am so glad I did. Food was delicious I had a buttermilk chicken wrap with fennel slaw and it was amazing. Service was great, very attentive. The waiting staff and chefs are all students and they were brilliant! A great local restaurant, at a very reasonable price and a great way to support the students at the college! 10/10 from me!
I have just had the pleasure of eating at Edmunds. It was excellent. The food was beautifully presented, prepared and cooked. It is definitely worth a visit. I attended with a group of ladies (19 of us on all) and the service went like clockwork. Would definitely go back again. In fact planning a visit with my husband soon.

We visited Edmunds on Wednesday evening in a party of 38 and enjoyed a really good meal. Well presented and served, deliciously “different”. We thoroughly recommend a visit. Excellent, especially so, as everything is prepared, cooked and served by the students. Friday buffet is excellent quality and value too.
Last week, our group of women had an excellent lunch experience at Edmunds. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We want to express our gratitude to the staff and students for taking such good care of us. Thank you!
The service was willing but clearly still learning .The food varied from the excellent to the quite good and that was fine by us. There was a major timing glitch but we were not in a rush .
The food at this restaurant is on par with other 5-star establishments nearby. It is impressive, especially considering the fact that the staff had only started a couple of weeks earlier.

Today I went for lunch the service was fabulous the food is exceptional I had the fish finger sandwich with salad and rocket and mayo I'll definitely will be going back sometime soon
