Just left Edrich Lumber on old court road in Baltimore. ABSOLUTELY by far the very worst experience I have ever had! First of all this was the first time we have ever made a purchase like this in person. We had to pick up because they dont deliver in quanties less than 4 cubic yards. The loader was literally yelling at us from his truck What are you doing man hurry up man, I dont have all day What the heck is he doing You need to hurry up, I got to go Come on Man .. meanwhile we are parked right next to the soil pile we are purchasing and hes not giving us any direction short of yelling rude expletives out his window. We had planned to purchase, mulch, and wood chips from Edrich for this sam...
What a kind group of people. My husband and I could not decide on what stone to use for our project and the office staff called for a manager. He came down and introduced himself. With a few questions we were pointed in the correct direction for which stone we needed for our project. We set up delivery and we were on our way. The short time we were there I think 20 contractors came in for mulch and to recycle sticks and leaves. This is the place where the lawn and garden guys go for mulch and stone. Now I know too.
I visited this restaurant this week for my usual order of mulch, but ended up leaving with a new product recommended by the employees. It is called premium fine mulch and it is the best mulch I have ever come across. It is much finer than their regular mulch, almost like peat moss but slightly more coarse. I have been searching for something like this and now I know what I will be using this spring to enhance my garden. Thank you for the great suggestion.
This is my second visit in a few years to purchase products. I bought the triple play mix for my raised bed gardens again this year. The quality is amazing! Perfect for vegetables. The price is also fair. They used a forklift to load it into my pick-up truck. The staff is always friendly. If you garden, this is a must-stop shop for products! Thank you.

I've been coming here a couple times a month for nearly twenty years. It seems like they always are upgrading something. Fun place to visit if you are an equipment junkie. Prices are fair and and the mulch is good and always a generous portion is loaded.
We stopped in for the National recycling day event. What a pleasant surprise. We won a free insulated cup and had lunch for free. We will surely be back for more stone. My dad has been coming here for mulch since the 70's.
I'm thrilled that I discovered this place to bring my plants and bushes from my jobs. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
