I warned her not to come here to get food or anything this is the worst running el pollo loco in this local ever. Pickup time 3:55 p.m. no one came. No signs. no warnings. She had to wait at the door knocking at the window really hard to get someone attention. She was trying to cancel the order now but you have to call them. And no surprise they don't pick up. 4:04 three different employees were coming into work she had to talk to them. At 4:08 p.m. a management came out with the order. I really hate leaving reviews like this, but after enduring it for a while, I'm leaving one. I specifically requested that the chicken not be dry when I ordered, as more than half of my previous orders have been overly dry. However, upon opening the container at home, this time there was even more, easily over 80%, extremely dry chicken than in my past orders. The chicken legs were so dry that they shriveled to the size of my finger... It seems like a blatant disregard for customers. Perhaps the management didn't bother with proper training. The food quality was lacking, but the service was even worse. The attendant at the pickup window was unhelpful. I specifically requested pico de gallo, cilantro, and onions while paying, but when she brought out the food, those items were missing. When I attempted to ask her for them again, she abruptly closed the window in my face.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered bad service here. On previous visits, I’ve received cold chicken, undercooked rice, and the dining area was often dirty when I chose to eat in. I even completed an online survey and left my number for corporate to contact me, but it seems they don’t follow up on complaints or seem to care.
A star is everything you get when I order a classic pollo bowl and the person in the register tells me I can not have any extra salsas with my meal. He told me they ran out, so I went home with my food, minutes later I sent my son back to buy another bowl and asked for additional salsa and you can believe he received as many as he asked. He has 6, I don't have one. How fair was that? And why did I refuse when I asked politely? So I have no desire to do business with this location.

Pollo Loco can be quite inconsistent. I typically order the double chicken tostada, but I've noticed that the chicken can vary significantly from one location to another. Sometimes it’s nice and moist, while other times it’s overcooked and dry. There are certain locations I’ve stopped visiting because of this inconsistency.
This is much closer to my workplace and I order a lot online. There are rewards as a $2 discount or $5 cash on account to order cheap food. Recently one of the orders was incomplete without avocado and another customer checked his bag before he took it out. But the food is delicious than other places.
If you're looking for semi-healthy food, they have some good options available. The staff is friendly. However, I stopped dining here in 2023 because they serve their hot food in plastic containers, which can leach harmful chemicals. After realizing this, I decided not to return.
I like coming because of the chicken is better than the one in Downey.! But the wait in the drive is crazy I being here for 25 minutes and I?m still at the speaker where you order, don?t know why but this is not cool.
