If you're ever in the stone mountain Georgia area you should really go to this Mexican restaurant. They have really great authentic Mexican food. The tacos are very good they serve it with cilantro onions and meat. The beans cheese and rice comes in a separate container. I always ask for flour tortillas instead of corn. that's just the way I like it but to each their own. You get 3 tacos for like $10 and you'll be full after the first one. there's always a downside to every good thing. They do not have Berea tacos. But everything else is on spot. The staff was rude and not attentive at all and we weren't there during a busy time. I was nervous about the food when they gave us a book size menu because most places with such a huge menu lack in quality of food. Should've gone with my gut the beef nachos and beef taco had absolutely no flavor the pork tamales were disgusting and the only thing halfway edible that our table ordered was the queso and chicken flauta.They have ceiling tiles that will kill anyone's appetite and soap dispensers in the bathroom were completely disgusting. The one star is generous they deserve zero.

This restaurant was a regular dinner spot for my family in the early 2000s, and it has absolutely stood the test of time! I was a bit anxious about returning, as I hadn't been since I was a child in 2006, but the experience was outstanding. I had a fantastic dinner tonight that was not only delicious but also very filling and reasonably priced. The service was quick and excellent; everyone was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning soon!

You Can't Go Wrong Here! My family has been dining at this restaurant since it first opened around 20 years ago. The food is fantastic, and you can enjoy unlimited chips and salsa. Whenever my children visit, they insist on going to El Torero. The fact that we keep running into the same familiar faces is a definite indication of a great place to eat. Additionally, the low staff turnover is another positive sign.
I discovered this restaurant last night, and I'm really happy I did. I had the ribeye steak with extra onions, and it was surprisingly thick and generously portioned. Absolutely delicious! The beans and rice were also freshly made. I wanted to order flan for dessert, but the owner mentioned that it's so popular they sometimes run out near closing time. Guess I'll have to try it next time!
The chips and salsa were excellent, and the food portions were quite generous for the price. Everything was delicious, and I would definitely recommend this place. However, the service felt a bit disorganized, but everything else was up to standard.
I have visited three El Torrero locations, and the menu remains consistently excellent. They offer healthier options, and their food isn't as greasy as many other Mexican restaurants. Every dish I've tried has been very flavorful.

Classic Tex mex Mexican food. Super fast service. Great chips and salsa. Plenty of delicious options for vegetarians. Weekly lunch favorite.
