This is an average alright place. Not meaning anything bad but I guess it's better to go there for a one off drink if you are passing by. Went during day time because we were starving, the TV was blasting some AFL when we were only 4 in the pub. So it was a bit too much. Weirdly they had a quite extended selection it seemed but when asked they quite seemed to have ran out of a lot of them. Ended up getting a cider and a ceasar salad. The portion was quite massive I must admit and they didn't hesitating on filling it with bacon and cheese, which is always a plus as often you just get more lettuce than filling, however it wasn't really flavorsome. I went in here with my daughter looking for a drink where we could talk. as brite I usually avoid traditional British pubs outside the uk, as they are in the regular full of the kind of British people I tried to get away. So after I didn't read the sign correctly, I felt like I was entering an alternative university and not a pleasant one. I can't comment on the drinks that we were handed over for the service at the bar to support some kerle, heard some vogel screaming on the television left
If you're after a cheap pint and you are passing by at happy hour then this might be okay. If you're looking for decent food or good service then I'd suggest you keep walking. Northbridge has an abundance of good bars; this is a pub that seems to be stuck in the past not in a good way.
Don't you just love all these quaint British style pubs one finds in Perth! We just love the ambiance of them. Well my partner prefers the beer actually!! What a great spot to hang out on a Sunday lunch time especially when the temps are soaring outside as it was this Xmas.

Terribly disappointed, food awful, staff unfriendly, and atmosphere cheap and tacky. Anybody would logically think that this establishment would have enough competition in the area that they would at least attempt to off quality in food and service but apparently not.
Arrived during happy hour. Drinks from the tap were cold and $6 a pint. Ordered 2 meals. Chicken Parmi and Steak with dianne sauce. Parmi was burnt. Steak was tough. The service was quick. Probably wont eat here again. Shame its a nice pub with a good vibe.
I would not go back the bar management was really rude that he ripened the wine list from my hand and would not allow that someone to service us and if we had one of the bar people she just gave us water and would not explain why that would not serve us
no bad place for some local craftsmen beer. I just didn't think that the staff was so friendly, but I just came in once, so maybe I had a better experience on another day. I didn't try to eat.

Obnoxious bearded manager. Food tasted funny. The whole place looks really creepy. Will not recommend anyone to go there. There are plenty of other places around to choose from.
nothing special I was here once and didn't cost it. the food was average and the service. the floors were all sticky and the atmosphere stunk
