I visited this restaurant in early November with friends and was very impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, without being too overwhelming. The menu is diverse and exciting, with reasonable prices. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous, unlike other places where you pay a lot for very little. The timing between courses was just right, allowing for a leisurely 2-hour meal with plenty of conversation. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on unfamiliar dishes. Went on a Sunday evening for my birthday. The service was spectacular the whole restaurant has a family feel and they really know how to look after their customers. Staff are so in tune with what makes a good restaurant and nothing is a bother. Drinks were excellent and the food was another level altogether. The honey parsnips on the that roast dinner, wow. The pork crackling was sensational. It really was a sensational roast dinner actually the best Iv ever had

I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant after a fantastic dining experience! We received a warm welcome and immediately felt at ease with the pleasant background music and cozy atmosphere. The friendly and professional managers and staff took care of our every need at our spotlessly clean table. Each person in our group loved their delicious and beautifully presented meals, and we will definitely be returning to Ellington's in the near future!

Ellingtons what a hidden gem! Food is fabulous fillets that melt in your mouth and the Madeira sauce is out of this world. I can honestly say that my husband and I have never had even a mediocre meal here, it’s always a full on treat. I know that you only do 3 nights a week now but please don’t stop as you are our favourite restaurant in Merseyside. Visited Ellington’s today for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! It’s so hard to find a good roast out but it was great. Lovely atmosphere and really attentive staff. Will definitely be going back.
