Don’t let the small space fool you. The bread coming out of here is a work of art. Delectable, yummy, heavenly really. And so many different varieties. The sourdough is so good, you don’t need any butter. The dark rye was full of texture. I wish we had tried the cheese bread, but that sold out early. Everything here sells out, so if you want to go, go early. And don’t be discouraged by the line. It goes fast. And it’s so worth it!! The bakers/owners have so much pride in their work, ask them questions. You’ll learn so much about the bread and you can see why it turns out so well, by the passion the bakers have for their craft. Yummy!!

I enjoy baking at home, I bake for my friends and family and understand that sometimes things can go wrong. Cookies burn, dough doesn't come out how you expect it, but I would never, ever give anyone something that I would not enjoy myself. So if you are a pro baker and make a living selling what you bake, why would you sell burnt cookies and pastries to paying customers? That is simply unacceptable, to charge someone for something that should have been thrown out. Please see images attached. This was our first experience in Elora, and we were very excited to try this bakery, too bad that it was a complete let down.

We visited this restaurant twice, once on our way to a concert, and once between performances. The first time, we couldn't stop for a sandwich so we bought some delicious shortbread instead. However, on our second visit, we were hoping for sandwiches but had to settle for scones as the restaurant had run out of bread. The server explained that it had been a busy afternoon. It was disappointing, but luckily the scones were savory and made a decent substitute for sandwiches.

While on vacation, we searched for a bakery as we love them, and stumbled upon this small bakery. It was quite busy with line-ups outside, likely due to limited space and Covid restrictions. However, the line moved swiftly and it was definitely worth the wait. The focaccia was incredibly soft and packed with flavor, and the pumpkin scone was simply delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sourdough bread with poppy seeds from Elora Bakery. When we inquired about its origin, we decided to visit the bakery and purchase the plain sourdough bread (since the poppy seed version was sold out) along with a baguette. The baguette was delicious when we had it at home. Bread lovers must visit this bakery!

Curiosity made us go inside after peeking throuhg the window. It was like stepping into a time machine not your typical bakery but great. We bought on impulse and enjoyed each and every item. A most pleasant experience!

We had just finished a taster session with an anti-pasto platter up the street at the brewery. Lo behold they get the bread from here and we got the last loaf. Turned out we could closely replicate the platter at home.

I purchased a delicious loaf of walnut bread which the baker said made excellent French toast. Can't wait to try it!
