Must have driven past this Restaurant thousands of times. We'd only just heard that the Empress was a great night out. How true. They had a great spacious nook for us, a group of eight. Right from the get-go, we knew that we were in for a triffic night of top quality food, beautiful wines and really good fun. One couple ordered a wide range of dishes and wines. Way to go. Beautiful meals were placed onto a well engineered aesthetically attractive glass lazy susan. Each dish was bursting with flavour and freshness. The service was unobtrusive and high quality. We'll be back for another seriously good night of fun. The bill was very reasonable. Lots of others knew this place is a go-to restaurant. Thanks Empress.l
We enjoyed an evening out to the Empress restaurant recently. It was family friendly and well patronised. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best honeyed chicken serves ever. We chose 3 dishes, a green vege and fried rice to share among 4 adults and a small child. Fried icecream for dessert was beautifully cooked. The only down side was that we had to wait a long time after we ordered - over an hour although they did bring out the spring rolls during that time. There is a take away meal service available as well. Well worth it; I will be back
The service was superb. We called the restaurant and asked if we could dine in in half an hour. We were welcomed and advised restaurant's signatute dished by one of the lovely waitresses. We followed her advice and the food turned out very delicious and impressive. The price was very reasonable..love it love it!
Ordered the $34 banquet and must say that food and service for this banquet was faultless!! All 6 dining enjoyed it immensely!! Corkage for byo is $15 per bottle of which we took 2, but the wine purchased off the wine list was good!! One of the tastiest and good quality banquets I've ever had!! Well done!
